The Opportunity
We are seeking a Graduate Project Engineer to join our team supporting upcoming subsea and ROV (Remotely Operated Vehicles) projects. Based role is based in West Perth you will be working alongside experienced Project Managers, Lead Engineers and Senior Project Engineers, you will gain hands-on experience across the full project lifecycle while contributing to the successful delivery of challenging subsea and marine projects.
You will be responsible for:
- Supporting Project Managers and Senior Engineers in the planning and execution of project work scopes;
- Assisting with project documentation, engineering deliverables, design reviews and technical reporting;
- Coordinating project activities with internal teams, subcontractors and suppliers
- Assisting with equipment preparation, mobilisation planning and offshore readiness activities;
- Supporting the management of project schedules, budgets and progress tracking;
- Participating in engineering studies, risk assessments, HAZIDs and constructability reviews.
About You
We're looking for a motivated and enthusiastic graduate who is eager to learn, enjoys solving problems, and thrives in a collaborative team environment. You will be curious, adaptable and keen to develop your technical and project management skills through hands-on experience and mentorship.
Your success in securing this role will require:
- A Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical, Mechatronic, Structural, Ocean Engineering or Naval Architecture;
- Recent graduation or up to 2 years' post-graduate engineering experience;
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams;
- The ability to obtain offshore survival certification and pass the associated medical examination.
- Exposure to engineering software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, OrcaFlex or similar is desirable;
