As a Global Mobility Senior Associate, you will support international assignment administration, coordinate mobility processes, and help manage allowances and compliance activities within our Talent and Development practice. As a Senior Associate you will analyze complex issues, build meaningful stakeholder connections, mentor junior team members, and navigate changing priorities while developing your personal brand and technical skills. In this role at PwC, you will apply critical thinking to mobility workstreams, interpret data to inform actions, and contribute to the broader business objectives of cross border mobility and employee assignment support.
Responsibilities
- Administering international assignment processes across expatriate lifecycle activities, including mobilization, extensions, rotations, and repatriation support
- Coordinating work permit, immigration, and visa documentation while tracking status changes and required follow-up actions
- Managing expatriate allowance, payroll input, and payment data to support accurate processing and timely issue resolution
- Interpreting mobility policies and tax guidance to support assignment compliance and required documentation
- Reviewing case details, assignment records, and supporting data to identify gaps, risks, and actions needed
- Preparing mobility correspondence, status updates, and case summaries for internal stakeholders and assigned service teams
- Supporting vendor coordination for relocation, immigration, and assignment services while tracking service milestones and deliverables
- Applying analytical thinking to monitor case progress, identify process improvements, and support mobility reporting
- Building working relationships with clients, assignment holders, and internal teams to move cases forward and address issues promptly
- Providing advice and guidance to assignees and business stakeholders on international assignment processes, requirements and policies
- Provide excellent client service to support inbound and outbound candidates through the relocation experience
- Partnering with people teams and external vendors to coordinate immigration and relocation activities for a seamless employee experience
What You Must Have
- At least a Bachelor's Degree or the equivalent degree
- At least 3 years of experience in Human Resources preferably in a professional services firm
- Oral and written proficiency in English required
- Experience in international assignments and mobility administration is required
- Excellent client service skills
What Sets You Apart
- At least one of the following: Human Resources certification (e.g. SHRM, PHR)
- Demonstrating global mobility case management experience for international assignments
- Managing workstreams involving expatriate administration, work permits, and immigration
- Interpreting mobility data to inform recommendations and reporting
- Building client relationships across internal stakeholder groups and service teams
- Applying critical thinking to complex mobility scenarios and changing regulations
- Knowledge/previous experience working with Australian visas and Immigration requirements
- Experience managing high volume of case work, and demonstrating strong organization skills, sense of urgency and initiative
- High attention to detail
