Role Summary

You will lead strategic sourcing and category management activities for Travel, Meetings and Expenses (TME). We are also keen to hear from procurement professionals who bring deep experience from other indirect spend categories and can apply their category leadership, commercial acumen and stakeholder management expertise to this area.

You will design and deliver sourcing strategies that balance cost, service, risk and sustainability. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a global sourcing and category strategy for travel, meetings and expenses, covering travel services, booking tools, corporate card programs and expense management.
• Lead global supplier selection, contract negotiation and ongoing supplier governance to deliver value and service consistency.
• Use data and analytics to identify savings, improve compliance and enhance traveller experience.
• Lead change initiatives to implement new tools, processes or commercial models across regions.
• Coach and influence cross-functional teams and regional procurement partners to ensure smooth delivery and adoption.

• Own end-to-end category planning, prioritisation and benefit delivery for travel, meetings and expenses.
• Manage supplier relationships and performance frameworks to ensure quality, innovation and resilience.
• Create compelling business cases and present recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, tax and duty of care requirements across all regions.
• Track and report category performance, savings and non-financial benefits such as traveller wellbeing and carbon reduction.
• Support digital transformation of travel, meetings and expense processes, including integration with finance systems and data platforms.

Basic Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent experience in Procurement, Finance, Business or a related discipline.
• Significant experience in procurement, sourcing and category management.
• Experience managing complex supplier relationships, commercial negotiations and contract governance.
• Strong commercial mindset with a track record of delivering measurable business value.
• Proven ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders across global, cross-functional environments.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, including experience engaging senior leaders.
• Experience within Travel, Meetings and Expenses categories is advantageous but not essential.

Preferred Qualifications

• Deep category expertise in Travel, Meetings and Expenses, or transferable experience from other indirect procurement categories.
• Experience working in a global, matrixed organisation.
• Strong analytical capability and experience using data to support procurement decisions.
• Experience leading procurement transformation, change management or digital procurement initiatives.
• Knowledge of travel management companies, booking tools, corporate card programmes, expense platforms or similar supplier ecosystems.
• Procurement qualification such as CIPS (or equivalent) is desirable.

Work Arrangement

This role offers a hybrid working model, with a mix of on-site and remote work. Remote or fully home-working arrangements are not available for this role.
