The GL Senior Accountant will support the GL team in managing month-end closings, reconciliations, and financial analysis, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements.

Key Responsibilities:

Support in daily operations of the GL team, ensuring timely and accurate posting of transactions.
Oversee the month-end closing process, ensuring all financial entries are recorded, reconciled, and closed in accordance with the timeline.
Review and verify journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reports.
Monitor the integrity of financial data and ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulations.
Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audits and provide necessary documentation.
Provide support to finance and operations teams regarding GL inquiries and issues.
Support in the implementation of process improvements to enhance the efficiency of the GL functions.
Assist in the development of accounting policies and procedures.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2-4 years of experience in accounting and financial statements.
Strong knowledge of general accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Oracle, SAP), along with MS Office applications.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in creating financial statements under IFRS.
Strong operational and implementation knowledge on IFRS.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
