Hiring Range: $425,000.00 – $595,000.00
Actual pay depends on specialty, experience, and performance
Riverside Medical Group is expanding its specialty care network and is actively seeking a dedicated Board Certified or Board Eligible General Surgery Physician to join our esteemed Surgery team in Onancock, Virginia.

About the Role
The ideal candidate will embody Riverside’s mission to provide the right care at the right time, enhancing patient well-being and improving health outcomes. You’ll be part of a team of experienced physicians and clinical professionals with extensive expertise across a wide range of surgical specialties.
Clinical Services Offered
- Anti-reflux surgery
- Breast and colon surgery
- Hepatic, pancreatic, and cancer surgery
- Appendectomy and gallbladder removal
- Hernia and melanoma surgery
- Pilonidal cystectomy
- Rectal/hemorrhoid surgery
- Skin lesion removal and wound care
- Parathyroid and thyroid surgery
- Vascular access procedures
- Surgical oncology
- GI endoscopic procedures
Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
- Licensed to practice in the State of Virginia
- Board Certified or Board Eligible by an approved medical board
- Current DEA registration
- Strong clinical decision-making and documentation skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Professional demeanor and appearance
- Experience with managed care and Medicare populations preferred
