This position is targeted at candidates with 3–5 years of relevant experience in the field. Your role:
As a General Ledger Specialist, you will ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial accounting processes. You will manage general ledger activities, support closing and reporting cycles, and contribute to statutory, consolidated, and tax‑related requirements.
Your key duties and responsibilities
- Ensure accurate and timely general ledger accounting in compliance with OIC and IFRS standards
- Record, classify, and reconcile financial transactions
- Support monthly and annual closing processes
- Contribute to the preparation of statutory and consolidated financial statements
- Collaborate with auditors, consultants, tax authorities, and internal stakeholders
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and process improvement opportunities
- Support the implementation and optimization of ERP systems and accounting procedures (SAP preferred)
- Contribute to HR‑related accounting activities (e.g., payroll postings)

You may be asked to support additional finance-related tasks as your role evolves.
Your skills, experience, and qualifications required
- Master’s degree in Accounting and Finance (preferably with honors)
- 3–5 years of experience in accounting and tax, preferably in structured environments or consulting firms (Big 4)
- In-depth knowledge of Italian accounting principles (OIC) and international standards (IFRS)
- Strong understanding of Italian tax regulations
- Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office tools
- Accuracy, analytical skills, and attention to detail
- Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Fluency in Italian and good knowledge of English

- Gross Annual Salary (RAL) ranging from €40,000 to €50,000, depending on experience, skills, and qualifications
