We are seeking a Business Analyst to play a key role in the continued development of the MSFS Workflow platform and associated business process transformation initiatives. The role provides the opportunity to work across complex fund administration processes, partnering with business and technology teams to understand current-state operations, identify opportunities for improvement and automation, and design scalable target-state workflows.

The successful candidate will take ownership of initiatives across the product lifecycle, from initial discovery and process analysis through requirements definition, solution design, testing, implementation, training, and post-launch enhancement. This will require the ability to understand complex operational processes and controls, challenge existing ways of working, and translate business needs into clear and actionable requirements for Technology.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Partnering with business stakeholders to understand operational challenges, priorities, and opportunities for workflow improvement and automation.
  • Analyzing and documenting complex business processes, workflows, controls, exceptions, and user interactions, and defining effective target-state solutions.
  • Translating business needs into clear functional specifications, user stories, use cases, acceptance criteria, and other requirements that can be understood by both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Facilitating requirements and solution-design discussions across Business, Product Development, and Technology teams, ensuring solutions address both user needs and broader product objectives.
  • Managing initiatives through the delivery lifecycle, including requirements management, design reviews, testing across POC, QA, UAT, and Production environments, implementation planning, and rollout.
  • Leading user acceptance activities and supporting global training and adoption of new workflow capabilities.
  • Owning the post-implementation feedback loop, working with users and Technology to assess issues, identify root causes, and prioritize enhancements and product improvements.
  • Coordinating effectively across business, technology, and Product Development teams in multiple global locations while managing changing priorities and delivery timelines.
  • Supporting selected AI-enabled workflow initiatives where appropriate, including workflows that combine automation, data, business rules, AI capabilities, and human review or approval.

The role is well suited to an individual who combines strong fund administration knowledge with excellent analytical and product development skills and who enjoys solving complex operational problems through technology and process redesign.

Skills Required

  • Strong knowledge of fund administration processes, including fund accounting, pricing, reconciliations, allocations, operational controls, and related workflows.
  • Exceptional Business Analyst and analytical skills, with demonstrated experience gathering complex business requirements and translating them into clear functional specifications, user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria.
  • Experience analyzing, documenting, and redesigning complex operational processes, including workflows, SOPs, controls, exceptions, and target-state processes.
  • Ability to understand complex business problems, identify opportunities for process improvement and automation, and develop practical, scalable solutions.
  • Experience working across the product or technology delivery lifecycle, from discovery and requirements through testing, implementation, rollout, and post-production enhancement.
  • Strong stakeholder management and facilitation skills, with the ability to build effective relationships and influence across Business, Product, and Technology teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong presentation and training skills, with experience supporting user adoption of new products, processes, or technology.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain delivery commitments, and adapt to changing requirements.

Skills / Qualifications Desired

  • Technical knowledge of business process management, workflow, or automation platforms and tools.
  • Experience delivering business process improvement, workflow streamlining, or automation initiatives.
  • Understanding of agile delivery methodologies and experience working closely with technology teams throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Knowledge of business and technology ticketing and delivery tools such as JIRA and ServiceNow.
  • Interest in user experience and design, particularly in simplifying complex operational processes and user interactions.
  • Experience with, or an interest in, AI-enabled workflow and automation capabilities.
  • Exposure to the design or evaluation of AI-enabled workflows or agents, including the interaction between AI capabilities, data, business rules, tools, and human intervention.
  • Familiarity with concepts such as APIs, agent orchestration, and Model Context Protocol (MCP).
  • Awareness of the importance of controls, guardrails, auditability, and human approval within AI-enabled business processes.
