Envision Employment Solutions is currently looking for a Functional and Specialist Recruitment Manager for one of our partners, a leading Digital Bank!

Job Summary

The Functional and Specialist Recruitment Manager owns full cycle hiring across the Bank's business and corporate functions, from the first conversation through to the signed offer. This role is responsible for sourcing and winning specialist and hard to fill talent across banking, fintech, and other professional services, while bringing a rigorous, evidence based process to regulated and control function roles. As the first point of contact for every candidate, this person is the first proof point of what the Bank stands for, protecting the candidate experience for those hired and those who aren't.

Responsibilities

• Own full cycle hiring across business and corporate functions, from first conversation to signed offer.
• Proactively source talent across banking, fintech, and other professional services rather than relying on inbound applications.
• Apply banking level rigor to hiring for regulated and control function roles, ensuring candidates meet the standard required by the license.
• Assess candidates for both capability and cultural fit through a structured, evidence based process.
• Partner with functional leaders as a genuine hiring advisor, guiding role definition and hiring strategy.
• Protect the candidate experience throughout the process, ensuring every candidate, hired or not, leaves with a positive impression of the Bank.
• Build and maintain living pipelines for the hardest to fill roles, ensuring the next critical hire is already in motion.
• Deliver hires on time and to the standard required for the Bank's launch and growth plans.

Requirements

• Several years of experience running full cycle recruitment, either in-house or agency side, across a range of business or corporate functions.
• Proven ability to source and win specialist and hard to fill talent, not simply screen inbound applicants.
• Strong credibility and communication skills to engage senior leaders as a trusted advisor.
• A structured, evidence based approach to assessing talent, with the discipline to back hiring decisions with data and process, not just instinct.
• Financial services recruitment experience is a plus, though not essential.
