Job Summary:
Wellstar Medical Group is seeking a full-time board-certified/board-eligible Obstetrician/Gynecologist to join our OB Hospitalist team at Wellstar Cobb Hospital in Austell, GA.
Position Highlights:
Flexible schedule with no outpatient clinic responsibilities
144-hours per month with ability to take extra shifts as desired
Shifts and deliveries at Wellstar Cobb Hospital

Collaborative multidisciplinary team, including MFM, midwives, and WHNPs
Clinical Responsibilities:
Hospitalists provide comprehensive inpatient obstetric and gynecologic care including:
Labor and delivery management for unassigned patients
Vaginal and cesarean deliveries
Obstetric emergencies
Gynecologic emergency consultations and surgeries
Emergency Department consultations
Supervision of OB Emergency Department
Support of antepartum patients

Demonstrate excellent surgical and clinical judgment

Qualifications:
Required
MD or DO
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology
Eligible for unrestricted Georgia medical license
3+ years of experience
