Job Description:

Coordinates and oversees a broad range of operational activities within the Centre for Accessible Learning (CAL), including intake and assessment processes, disability-related funding administration, data management, communications, reporting, outreach, and service coordination. Acts as the primary liaison between CAL and key institutional partners, including the Financial Aid and Student Awards Office regarding BSWD, CSG-DSE, and disability-related OSAP processes; the Welcome Centre regarding student intake and onboarding; the Registrar's Office regarding classroom and lab access for support personnel; and external service providers supporting students with disabilities.

Provides guidance and ongoing support in the processing of disability-related bursary applications and coordinates the scheduling of Educational Assistants, American Sign Language Interpreters, Visual Interpreters, Personal Support Workers, and other specialized support personnel, including arranging coverage and backfill as required. Ensures support personnel have access to Brightspace, learning materials, equipment, and other resources necessary to support student participation and success.

Serves as the lead administrator and subject matter expert for CAL's ClockWork data management system, coordinating system operations across all campuses and acting as the primary liaison with software developers regarding system enhancements, maintenance, troubleshooting, and implementation of new functionality. Collaborates with internal stakeholders to identify operational requirements, configure system solutions, implement process improvements, document system architecture and procedures, and provide technical support, training, and guidance to administrative staff, faculty, and end users. Supports the integration of ClockWork with other College systems to promote effective information sharing and operational efficiency.

Coordinates departmental data collection, statistical analysis, surveys, and reporting activities, including student satisfaction surveys and government reporting requirements related to accessibility funding. Maintains expertise in the College's student information systems, SharePoint, website administration, and related technologies that support departmental operations.

Functions as the first point of contact for CAL staff requiring support with intake, data management, communications, and system-related processes. Provides day-to-day leadership to the Intake and Assessment Support Officer and Computerized Note Taker and Support Officer, assigning work, monitoring priorities, and providing guidance on procedures, standards, and service delivery.

Leads outreach and awareness initiatives that promote accessibility and student success by delivering presentations and educational sessions to students, faculty, staff, school boards, and community partners. Represents CAL at College and community events, develops partnerships that support transition and retention of students with disabilities, and coordinates major outreach initiatives, including Open Doors, Discovery Days, ASPIRE transition programming, Career Services workshops, Open House activities, and other recruitment and student engagement events.
