Accenture Federal Services is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineering Manager to join Accenture Federal Services. The ideal candidate will join a highly skilled, multi-discipline software development team to provide expert technical leadership on multiple projects. This role focuses on designing, building, and optimizing software applications that enable advanced analytics, machine learning, and mission-critical decision support. The position requires deep technical proficiency, leadership in software and data architecture, and the ability to operate effectively within classified programs. Serves as the enterprise architect responsible for maintaining an enterprise architecture and target-state blueprint. Ensures all modernization efforts align to approved enterprise standards, integration patterns, and strategic roadmaps while preventing the creation of fragmented or duplicative solutions.
Responsibilities
- Architect and implement software solutions that integrate data ingestion, transformation, and storage across multiple secure environments.
- Design APIs, microservices, and backend systems.
- Oversee design of data visualization interfaces to help analysts explore their data (front end development)
- Design and deploy solutions consisting of front-end and back-end components.
- Oversee data workflows for performance, reliability, and security in compliance with government standards.
- Ensure adherence to cybersecurity, data governance, and information assurance requirements in all development activities.
- Work with a multi-disciplinary engineering team designing and deploying software.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex software and data integration issues across distributed systems.
- Work with customer in Agile software development process to understand and develop software and project requirements.
Required Qualifications
- 10 years of experience working with a modern programming languages (Python, Kotlin, Java, Go, TypeScript, JavaScript)
- Experience working with RDBMS's and/or NoSQL databases (MySQL, Postgres, MongoDB, etc.)
- Experience with a modern front-end framework (Vue, React, Angular)
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience working with cloud environments (AWS, Azure)
- Experience with UI/UX design principles
- Experience with containerization capabilities such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with DevSecOps pipelines and tools (Gitlab, Harbor, Nexus, Argo CD, etc.)
Clearance
- An active Top Secret security clearance is required
As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
