Leidos is seeking a mature, self-starting developer who takes initiative, works autonomously in a high-impact environment, and possesses exceptional communication skills to collaborate effectively across technical teams and senior government stakeholders. This opportunity will be support the Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI) onsite at the National Maritime Intelligence Center in Suitland, MD. In this role, you'll be supporting the ONI Technology and Innovation Directorate, Information Management Division mission areas including the architecture for ONI’s tradecraft, production and dissemination environment.
You will provide support to help our Navy customer with a new enterprise Production and Dissemination system, which includes the migration of backend systems into a new modern environment as well as the development/customization of a new enterprise-wide web interface/application. Your daily activities will directly impact real-world operations and assist in disseminating maritime intelligence in the right product line to the appropriate customers and allies.

Primary Responsibilities
- Serve as subject matter expert on software development and web design framework.
- Provide support for advanced workflow trouble shooting and support the organization new workflows to support the dissemination of future products in the new production tool.
- Provide front-end site page customization support for a new production tool, to which will conform to the customer branding.
- Provide data analytic support as applicable. Communicate effectively with other departments, stakeholders, and other customers with any outstanding or ongoing connectivity, application, or other systems issues.
- Provide detailed documentation and guides to senior officials from multiple departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Front-End Engineering: Build, customize, and maintain responsive web pages, applications, and UI components supporting a mission-critical Navy intelligence production and dissemination system.
- UI/UX & Branding: Align web design modules and workflows with customer usability standards and enterprise branding guidelines.
- System Integration & Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve advanced workflow, connectivity, and system issues across modern web production environments.
- Cross-Functional Communication: Serve as a subject matter expert, translating complex technical architectures into clear guidance for developers, cross-department stakeholders, and senior officials.
- Technical Documentation: Author clear standard operating procedures (SOPs), user guides, and technical specifications.
Basic Qualifications
- Clearance: Active DoD Top Secret / SCI.
- Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years (Mid) or 8+ years (Senior) of relevant software development experience; OR
- Master’s degree with 2+ years (Mid) or 6+ years (Senior) of relevant experience.
(Equivalent professional experience accepted in lieu of a degree).
- Certification: DoD IAT Level II certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+) or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
- Technical Competencies:
- Demonstrated hands-on experience in front-end web design, user interface modules, and web framework architectures.
- Proficiency in scripting and development with JavaScript, Angular, Node.js, Python, and/or Perl.
- Solid working knowledge of JSON and RESTful web services.
Work Location Requirement: Ability to report on-site to JBAB for approximately 75% of work hours.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $73,450.00 - $132,775.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
