You will be joining one of our Live Studios, working on Paper.io 2.

We're a small team of excellent people who take care of everything from ideas to testing, and we intend to grow while maintaining our high standards.

Role

As a Concept Artist focusing on Concept Art, you will play a vital role in shaping the visual identity of Paper.io 2. Collaborating closely with the Art Director, you will create, develop, and integrate stunning game assets, elevating the production quality of our live games as we transition them into the casual space.

• Art Creation:

  • Design and produce high-quality concept art for characters, environments, and props.

  • Work on illustrations for icons or stylised assets that align with the game’s aesthetic.

  • Creating key art illustrations with final render.

• Collaboration:

  • Partner with the Art Director to align on visual style and direction.

  • Actively contribute by providing creative ideas and constructive feedback.

• Conceptualisation:

  • Gather references, brainstorm ideas, and create mock-ups that clearly communicate the artistic vision.

  • Contribute to the creative direction by delivering compelling and innovative designs.

Profile

• Experience:

  • 4+ years as a Concept Artist, in the mobile gaming industry.

  • Strong capabilities in concept art, including a keen eye for detail, composition, and style.

  • Ability to adapt to different visual styles and produce assets that align with the game’s vision.

  • Strong Illustration skills

• Technical Proficiency:

  • Skilled in tools like Maya, Blender, Unity, and Photoshop.

  • Proficient in low-poly modelling and texturing pipelines; familiarity with Maya rigging workflows is a plus.

  • Experience working with Unity

  • Familiar with AI pipelines

• Soft Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey ideas clearly and collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.

  • Resourceful and proactive, with the ability to troubleshoot and iterate effectively.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities

Nice to have

• Create low-poly 3D models, including texturing, to meet both technical and artistic requirements.

• Experience in VFX creation or animation.
