À propos de ce poste FP&A Manager chez Adyen
This is Adyen
Adyen provides payments, data, and financial products in a single solution for customers like Meta, Uber, H&M, and Microsoft - making us the financial technology platform of choice. At Adyen, everything we do is engineered for ambition.
For our teams, we create an environment with opportunities for our people to succeed, backed by the culture and support to ensure they are enabled to truly own their careers. We are motivated individuals who tackle unique technical challenges at scale and solve them as a team. Together, we deliver innovative and ethical solutions that help businesses achieve their ambitions faster.
FP&A Manager, Business Partnering
FP&A should help the business make better long-term choices. In this role, that means partnering with multiple teams at executive level to understand how we can continue to grow, where we should place our bets, and what needs to change as the organization scales.
At Adyen, we do not work with traditional budgets. The role is therefore not about managing teams to a fixed cost number. It is about helping leadership understand what good looks like over the next 12 to 24 months, which investments and capabilities will matter most, and how to balance growth, efficiency, and organizational scale over time.
We are looking for an FP&A Manager, Business Partnering to bring structure and financial thinking to those choices. You will help executive teams translate ambition into measurable outcomes, challenge whether current plans are strong enough, and make sure the planning cycle is used to shape the future rather than just update the forecast.
What you’ll do
-
Partner with multiple teams at executive level and become part of their regular planning and decision-making cadence
-
Help leadership define what success looks like over the next 12 to 24 months and translate strategic priorities into clear financial and operational measures
-
Own the planning cadence across the annual plan, monthly updates, and rolling forecast, using it to test whether we are on the right path and where we need to adjust
-
Build a view on how team growth, investment, productivity, capacity, and execution support long-term business growth
-
Challenge assumptions, build scenarios, and help leadership make better choices on where to scale, where to improve efficiency, and where to change direction
Who you are
-
You have 8+ years of experience in FP&A, Strategic Finance, finance business partnering, consulting, or a similar role, ideally in technology, payments, or another high-growth environment
-
You have experience working directly with senior executives and are comfortable challenging thinking and influencing important decisions
-
You can connect long-term business ambition to financial and operational outcomes, even where there is no obvious KPI or established framework
-
You are strong in planning, financial modelling, and scenario analysis, but always start with the business question and the decision that needs to be made
-
You are curious, pragmatic, and independent, low ego, and you enjoy bringing structure to complex questions where the answer is not obvious
Why this role matters
At Adyen, the key question is not whether a team stays within budget. It is whether we are making the right choices to keep growing over the long term.
That means understanding where additional investment will create real value, which capabilities we need to build before they become constraints, where scale should improve efficiency, and where complexity is starting to work against us. It also means being willing to challenge whether the organization we have today is the organization we need for the next stage of growth.
This role helps executive teams make those choices with more clarity. By staying close to the business, defining what good looks like, and bringing a long-term perspective into the planning cycle, Finance can help shape where we invest, how we scale, and how we continue to grow sustainably.
