About the location:

• Job Responsibilities

General

• Is directly responsible for the day to day key processes in his/her area of work.
• Assists his/her supervisor in executing the day to day operational requirements.
• Assumes training responsibilities when required; demonstrates a high degree of standards awareness; promotes teamwork and acts as role model.
• Attends all scheduled training sessions Actively offers operational, employee and customer (internal and external) related feedback to management.
• Displays warmth, care and genuine enthusiasm when dealing with guests and internal customers; lives the Golden Rule Adheres to the hotel's code of conduct and grooming & hygiene standards Is seen as working hands-on, assists colleagues in crunch times.
• Actively participates in briefings and meetings; facilitates communication between employees and management.
• Maintains a clean and orderly work area and promotes a safe working environment Performs any additional duties as assigned.

Departmental

• Assist the Florist Supervisor with:
• the lobby flowers to be fresh, new and creative that makes the hotel stand out amongst all other hotel
• In-Room flower decorations to be elegant, simple, tasteful and yet artful
• Prepare flower bouquets and arrangements for in-house guests or arriving guests (anniversaries, honeymoon couples etc)
• Presidential Suite and Luxury Villa decorations to have a WOW effect and on rotation during the stay
• All outlet decorations to be creative with a fresh look. Decorations to fit the ambiance and the look and feel of that specific outlet
• Table top decorations for functions, events, gala dinners, banquet events are to be new and innovative
• Monitors orders of flowers for the hotel Provides regular and fair performance feedback to employees, formally and informally as appropriate Maintains a clean and orderly work area and ensures tools & equipment are well maintained and in sufficient supply
