Seasonal Retail Sales Associate

A Seasonal Sales Associate is responsible for supporting the Team through peak business times for a temporary predetermined amount of time. They will support the store business with personal selling achievements and the store's day-to-day operations. The Filson brand is built on a reputation of excellent product quality, performance and associate knowledge, and this position serves to provide exceptional customer service and team empowerment.

What you'll do:

• Ensure consistent Filson Way Guest Experience standards are met.
• Ensure Visual and Operational Standards are met.
• Greeting guests, answering phones, engaging guests daily.
• Gift Wrapping, as needed.
• Support the team during peak holiday months, November - January
• Achieve daily and weekly selling goals
• Occasionally support store events (in-store or offsite) outside of store posted operating hours, if needed
• Keeping all areas of the store clean, presentable, and stocked; perform duties related to opening and closing the store
• Processing shipments, packing orders and other operational requirements as needed, including refilling sizes and backstock
• Regularly and consistently abides by Time & Attendance policies and all policies and procedures included within.
• Regularly and consistently abides by the Standards of Conduct and Ethics, and all policies and procedures included within
• Availability to include either/and/or days, nights and weekends as needed for the business.
• Must be available to work during the weeks of Thanksgiving and Christmas
• Temporary position, could end on or before the seasonal holiday period end date depending on business needs, availability and/or labor hour needs.
• Other duties assigned as needed

• Must be available the week and weekend of Thanksgiving and Christmas week leading into the New Year
• Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and extended hours as needed

• Interest in fashion, technical gear, and/or outdoor lifestyles
• Must be 18+ yrs old

Additional Requirements:

• Able to stand for 8 hours
• Able to lift and carry 30 pounds, as needed
• Able to reach overhead, as needed
• Able to pull clothing and luggage from shelves
• Able to bend, kneel, or stoop

Employment Details:

• Employment Type: Seasonal (temporary)
• Employment Period: Begins October 25, 2026 - January 23, 2027, not to exceed 90 days of seasonal status employment
  • Start dates may be anytime between October 25 to December 12, 2026
  • Seasonal employment may conclude anytime within the seasonal employment period based on but not limited to, the needs of the business, scheduling availability, labor hours allowed, and your personal productivity.
  • The last day allowed to work as a seasonal status will be January 23, 2027 for any seasonal employees, regardless of start date.
  • Depending on store needs, potential opportunity for continued employment after the seasonal period ends.
  • Compensation type: hourly
  • Compensation:
    • Starting at $16.80 - $18.50 per hour
