The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As a Facilities Operations Supervisor, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

 

• Leading Maintenance and Tool & Die teams and providing direction on scheduling and assignments for salaried employees and craftspeople involved in the fabrication, installation, operation, and maintenance of equipment and facilities.
• Evaluating and providing appropriate training, tools, equipment, and information, including changes that may impact employees' work environment, while monitoring and maintaining a safe workplace through review of employee training specific to their craft and work assignments.
• Applying broad technical knowledge and extensive experience to address variations in work conditions and operations, solving complex and diverse problems involving facilities and equipment, and supervising the development and implementation of process and tool improvements that support business and strategic objectives.
• Supporting the implementation of automation and disruptive technologies, identifying and coordinating advanced technical training for Maintenance Technicians in controls, PLCs, robotics, laser technology, 3D printing, and vision systems, and developing and maintaining a highly skilled Tooling team to support high-precision tooling requirements.
• Assessing facility and equipment conditions, proposing facility and equipment improvement projects based on those assessments, and assisting engineers with the planning and execution of improvement initiatives.

 

 

Your Skills and Expertise 

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

 

• Bachelor's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) AND five (5) years of manufacturing experience in a private, public, government, or military environment

OR

• Associate's degree or Technical Diploma (completed and verified prior to start) AND seven (7) years of manufacturing experience in a private, public, government, or military environment

OR

• High School Diploma/GED (completed and verified prior to start) AND nine (9) years of manufacturing experience in a private, public, government, or military environment

 

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

 

• Master's degree in a science discipline (completed and verified prior to start).
• Five (5) years of experience supporting electrical systems, controls systems, machine shop operations, and/or facilities operations in a private, public, government, or military environment.
• Three (3) years of supervisory, team lead, or people leadership experience.
• Experience managing engineering projects involving multiple stakeholders, priorities, or technical disciplines.
• Experience analyzing and resolving complex manufacturing, engineering, operational, or technical issues.

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $107,600 - $147,950, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
