[What you will be working on]

You will undertake the procurement functions in NEA in one or a few of the following areas:

• Review quotation and tender documents for publication to ensure compliance with NEA’s procurement policy and guidelines
• Review quotation and tender evaluation reports to ensure value for money, fairness, transparency and compliance with NEA’s procurement policies and guidelines
• Improve outreach, conduct training and facilitate dialogue among the procurement community in NEA
• Undertake studies of supply markets and proactively source and engage suppliers
• Advise and guide departments in their daily purchases of goods and services, based on the procurement rules and guidelines

[What we are looking for]

The job might be for you if you possess the following qualities:

• At least 3 to 5 years of experience in government procurement or supply chain work
• Familiar with Instruction Manual (IM) on Procurement, GeBIZ system and GeBIZ Management Console (GMC)
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and Power-point
• Performance driven, adaptable and a good team player
• Good IT and data analytical skills
• You will be working in a fast-paced and highly volatile environment that would require the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders at the same time.
