JOB DESCRIPTION
Main Duties & Responsibilities
1. Deliver services in accordance with pre-defined Service Level Agreements
2. Responsible for timely execution and completion of payroll cycles (Regular and Off cycle payroll)
3. Responsible for timely and accurate submission of statutory payments and reporting
4. Prepare and reconcile payroll summary and variance reports to ensure accuracy of the payroll results as generated in the trial payroll run
5. Conduct monthly reconciliations to ensure data accuracy between Workday and Payroll record
6. Provide hypo-tax and compensation details of international assignees to International Mobility team
7. Responsible to provide accurate calculation of final pay and adhering to all local statutory requirements – IR21 and IR8A filing
8. Process employees’ IR21, IR8A, year-end tax reporting, NS Claims and Government Paid Claims.
9. Perform Interco Billing
10. Initiate payroll payment runs and approve any payment exceptions made outside the main payment method( i.e., cheque/ cash payments)
11. Maintain proper filing and documentation of all relevant Documents (Payroll advice reports and correspondences) pertaining to Payroll related activities
12. Support UAT testing and endorse Incidents and Change requests
13. Work closely with Finance Business Partner on Payroll Accounting reconciliations
14. Assist in internal and external audits related to Payroll processes/activities
15. Support HR and employees’ pay related enquiries
16. Liaise with government authorities when required
17. Recommend continuous improvement to improve SLA to raise employee delight and BU engagement ratings
18. Participate in ongoing or ad-hoc projects

JOB REQUIREMENTS
1.Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field Minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll processing.
2. Proficiency in payroll software and systems (SAP payroll system will be added advantage).
3.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
