We have a great position open - At Philips, we are looking for an experienced Executive Assistant to support our Chief Technology Officer (CTO). In this role, you will be a trusted partner in enabling the CTO office to run effectively, helping to drive executive priorities, support governance and decision-making, and ensure follow-through on key technology and corporate initiatives.
Based at our head office in Amsterdam, you will work closely with the CTO, the technology leadership team, and stakeholders across Philips and beyond. This is a highly visible role in a dynamic, international environment, where professionalism, discretion, and strong organizational skills are essential.
Your role:
You will be responsible for:
- Providing high-quality executive and administrative support to the CTO, including complex diary and email management, meeting preparation, and travel coordination.
- Planning and coordinating technology leadership meetings, CTO staff meetings, functional meetings, offsites, workshops, and other governance moments, ensuring seamless logistics, well-prepared agendas, accurate minutes, and timely follow-up actions.
- Supporting the implementation of ExCo decisions and corporate initiatives related to technology, innovation, digital transformation, research and development, and enterprise-wide standards.
- Preparing and reviewing documents, presentations, briefings, and decision materials for senior leadership meetings, including ExCo and Supervisory Board forums where required.
- Acting as a key point of contact between the CTO, the technology leadership team, internal stakeholders, external partners, customers, and other executive offices, ensuring clear, timely, and effective communication.
- Managing confidential information, records, and files in a structured and discreet manner.
- Coordinating complex travel arrangements, including flights, accommodation, transport, itineraries, contingency planning, and visa applications, in line with company policy and budget.
- Supporting the organization of high-profile meetings, workshops, conferences, and events, including logistical preparation, materials, technical setup, and stakeholder coordination.
- Assisting with budget tracking, purchase orders, expense reports, and the follow-up of CTO office activities and commitments.
- Communicating announcements, updates, and key information clearly and professionally across the technology organization and the wider Philips network.
- Working independently across a broad range of executive assistant responsibilities, handling sensitive matters with tact, sound judgment, and a strong sense of ownership.
- Working closely with other ExCo assistants, and other teams assistants to optimalize processes
You're the right fit if:
- Relevant education and 5 to 7 years of experience as an Executive Assistant or Management Assistant in a fast-paced, international, and matrixed environment supporting senior executives.
- A proactive, confident, and solutions-oriented mindset, with the ability to set priorities and stay effective under pressure.
- Strong organizational, planning, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to work independently while building strong relationships with senior leaders, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; Dutch and other languages are an advantage.
- Flexibility and resilience in dealing with changing priorities and fluctuating workloads.
- A structured, accurate, and discreet way of working, with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office 365 and other relevant business systems; experience with Workday, Concur, and procurement systems is an advantage.
- Availability to work full-time.
Compensation & benefits
Doing meaningful work should come with fair, transparent rewards. The base salary range for this role is Min. € 61,185.00 – Max. € 101,976.00 . We determine pay within the range using objective factors, like the skills the role requires, your relevant experience and the responsibility you'll have in this role, alongside internal equity and local market considerations.
This role is eligible for a 3% incentive with your rewards linked to your KPIs/company results. We’ll share the full approach with you during the interview process, so you can make a clear, informed decision.

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week at the office. For this position it's Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
