Job Summary

Join our team as an Evening Workshop Cleaner, dedicated to maintaining a spotless and welcoming environment for our workshop facilities. This role offers a consistent schedule from Monday to Friday, working just two hours each evening. Your attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness will ensure our workspace remains safe, hygienic, and professional, supporting a productive environment for all staff and visitors.

Location: Lenton Lane, Nottingham, NG7 2AX

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday -6:30pm to 8:30pm (2hrs a day, 10hrs a week)

Duties

Perform thorough cleaning of workshop areas, including floors, workbenches, and equipment
Use a scrubber dryer machine to clean the workshop floor areas (full training provided and no previous experience reuired)
Sanitize high-touch surfaces and communal spaces to uphold hygiene standards
Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and notify management when stock needs replenishing
Follow health and safety protocols during cleaning procedures to prevent accidents or contamination
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards observed during cleaning activities
Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently within the scheduled two-hour window each evening

Requirements

Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles, with a strong understanding of cleaning techniques and safety procedures
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
Attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying areas needing extra care
Good physical stamina to perform repetitive cleaning tasks and move equipment as needed
Reliable and punctual, committed to adhering to the scheduled working hours from Monday to Friday
Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning practices is preferred
