Job Description & Summary

A career in our Enterprise Risk Management practice, within Risk and Compliance services, will provide you the opportunity to work with a team that provides clients with extensive risk and controls technical knowledge and sector specific experience. You’ll have the opportunity to develop a holistic approach to risk that protects businesses, facilitates strategic decision making and enhances efficiency by assisting management in the assessment of project risks and controls.

Our team helps organisations identify and assess risks that affect their business objectives. As a part of the team, you’ll help our clients reduce their costs and improve the effectiveness of their governance, risk and compliance activities, and assess, design, or implement enterprise risk management capabilities.

As a Manager In our Risk & Assurance Tower, you will play a key role in leading parts of technology audit engagements, guiding junior staff, and ensuring high‑quality delivery. You will manage complex workstreams, perform detailed reviews, and communicate audit findings to managers

Key Responsibilities

• Lead components of technology audit, IT risk, and assurance engagements for German and international clients.
• Coordinate with managers to deliver tailored audit programs and ensure timely completion.
• Perform detailed reviews of work prepared by Associates and provide constructive coaching.
• Identify and escalate audit findings, exceptions, and potential modifications to the audit plan as needed
• Act as a liaison between project teams and subject‑matter experts, ensuring alignment and smooth execution
• Contribute to drafting deliverables, reports, and client presentations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, Business IT, or related field.
• 6-12 years of experience in IT audit, technology assurance, or risk consulting.
• Proven understanding of IT controls, cybersecurity, and risk frameworks.
• Fluency in English is mandatory for client communication.
• German Speaking is a plus
• Strong leadership, project coordination, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Professional certifications (CISA, CISSP, CRISC, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, etc.)
• Experience managing multi‑country or cross‑functional audit teams.
• Knowledge of cloud technologies, ERP systems (SAP, Oracle), and security tools.
