- Understanding of the capital markets and stock markets, and a passion for investing.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques.
- Advanced level of proficiency in Excel is expected and required.
- Familiarity with the energy sector preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities:
- Provide support to senior analysts through fundamental analysis with an emphasis on bottoms-up research in the energy sector.
- Assist in the construction of maintenance of detailed company-specific and industry models.
- Draft individual company and sector-wide research reports.
- Analyze industry data to identify current and long-term trends.
- Keep abreast of industry-related news flow and analyze implications on companies under coverage.
- Update and maintain analyst marketing presentations.
- Communicate with both institutional clients and internal clients to convey investment recommendations and ideas.
- Respond to client and internal inquiries regarding research.
