À propos de ce poste Enterprise Operational Lead - SCRI/SCDI (Secondment - 12-Months) chez Pfizer
WHY PATIENTS NEED YOU
This 12-month, 80% secondment provides a development opportunity for an experienced clinical operations leader to take enterprise-level accountability for the Pfizer-SCRI/SCDI operational partnership under the Accelero model. The role is positioned within the Global Study Management (GSM) group in Global Site and Study Operations (GSSO), works closely with Strategic Partnerships, and serves as the primary Pfizer operational interface for SCRI and Sarah Cannon Development Innovations (SCDI) across the Accelero portfolio.
WHAT YOU WILL ACHIEVE
The role operates above individual-study execution. It enables portfolio visibility, consistent application of the approved operating model, cross-functional coordination, risk-based oversight, and timely enterprise escalation without duplicating accountabilities held by Study Teams, Vendor Leads, CRO project teams, Quality, or sites.
The successful colleague will gain broad exposure to strategic partnership management, enterprise governance, vendor oversight, operating-model evolution, and senior internal and external stakeholders while contributing to the operational maturity and scalability of a strategically important oncology partnership.
HOW YOU WILL ACHIEVE IT
- Enterprise portfolio oversight: Maintain an integrated view across Accelero studies, including portfolio-level dependencies, recurring risks, trends, and issues requiring cross-study coordination or enterprise action.
- Single operational interface: Act as the primary Pfizer operational point of contact for SCRI/SCDI for Accelero-related operational matters and connect the appropriate Pfizer and partner stakeholders.
- Operating model and Playbook ownership: Own the operational maintenance and evolution of the joint Pfizer-SCRI/SCDI Accelero Playbook, supporting consistent interpretation and application of agreed ways of working, roles, responsibilities, and governance.
- Governance: Prepare for and support effective operational governance forums, ensuring clear agendas, decisions, actions, owners, due dates, and follow-through. Surface matters requiring strategic-partnership or senior-leadership attention.
- Enterprise risk identification and escalation: Identify systemic or cross-study risks early, coordinate root-cause assessment and mitigation, and escalate through the appropriate Pfizer and joint-governance pathways before delivery is affected.
- Quality and exception oversight: Coordinate visibility and management of enterprise quality themes and operating-model exceptions for the Accelero program, ensuring engagement of the appropriate accountable Quality, Study Operations, and vendor-oversight roles.
- Vendor and CRO oversight: Provide enterprise-level operational oversight of SCDI as CRO within the Accelero scope, aligned with Pfizer QMS09 Vendor Oversight Roles, Responsibilities & Expectations (VORRE), without replacing designated Vendor Leads or duplicating study-level oversight.
- Cross-functional alignment: Drive coordination across Strategic Partnerships, Study Operations, Clinical Development, Global Site and Study Operations, Quality, Contracts, Procurement, Finance, and other relevant functions to resolve gaps, clarify ownership, and support consistent execution.
- Performance and continuous improvement: Use portfolio insights, agreed service expectations, and available metrics to identify patterns, recommend improvements, and support a scalable, sustainable operating model.
- Transition and sustainability: Create clear documentation, decision logs, role clarity, and handover materials so that improvements and governance practices remain sustainable beyond the secondment period.
