Job Description

Capability, Innovation & Transformation​

• Build GCC capabilities in priority engineering domains based on global demand and technology roadmaps​
• Drive adoption of digital engineering, simulation, automation, analytics, AI, and Industry 4.0 practices​
• Develop capability maturity plans, knowledge-transfer approaches, and global centers of expertise​
• Identify opportunities to improve engineering speed, quality, cost, sustainability, and manufacturability​

Organization & Talent Leadership​

• Define the GCC Engineering organization, leadership structure, capacity plan, and talent strategy​
• Hire, develop, and retain engineering leaders, technical specialists, and multidisciplinary teams​
• Build technical career paths, succession plans, communities of practice, and learning programs​
• Foster collaboration, engineering accountability, innovation, and consistent ways of working

Global Engineering Alignment​

• Act as the primary connection between global Engineering leaders and India GCC teams​
• Understand global engineering priorities, product roadmaps, project pipelines, and capability needs​
• Translate global requirements into GCC engineering workplans, deliverables, and resource needs​
• Position the GCC as a strategic engineering partner supporting ownership, innovation, and value creation​

Engineering Portfolio & Delivery​

• Govern the GCC engineering portfolio across design, controls, automation, manufacturing, and project engineering​
• Prioritize engineering demand based on business value, technical complexity, capacity, and critical timelines​
• Monitor quality, cost, schedule, productivity, and delivery performance across engineering programs​
• Resolve cross-functional risks, technical dependencies, and resource constraints affecting delivery​

Technical Governance & Excellence​

• Establish design-review mechanisms, technical controls, and quality expectations​
• Ensure adherence to global engineering processes, safety requirements, documentation, and change controls​
• Sponsor technical reviews and escalate high-impact engineering risks requiring global decisions​
• Drive standardization, reuse, automation, and continuous improvement across engineering workflows​
