About the Role:

We're hiring a Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain SOAR connectors that integrate third-party security platforms with Falcon Fusion, and build/maintain platform services that provide core orchestration and workflow capabilities to all users of CrowdStrike's flagship Falcon Platform.

Falcon Fusion – a core 'tier one' offering in our Flagship Platform, Falcon – is used by customers to automate breach remediations within their environments. It also serves as the runtime for apps built by our Foundry Module and is 'dogfooded' internally to automate workflows and accelerate development. Processing anywhere from 500M to 10B+ events per day, it is utilized by essentially every customer of the Falcon Platform.

This role is for an experienced backend microservices developer adept with cloud engineering principles. Your passion and meticulous attention to performance, reliability, and scalability will be key ingredients to your success at CrowdStrike.

What You'll Do:

• Build production-grade SOAR connectors that integrate security platforms (SIEM, EDR, ticketing, IAM) with Falcon Fusion at scale, and contribute to core platform services powering connector execution, authentication, and orchestration.
• You'll own connectors end-to-end—from API research through deployment and production support—while improving underlying platform capabilities (auth systems, testing frameworks, deployment pipelines).
• Research, evaluate, and integrate new security platforms and APIs to expand our connector portfolio.
• Develop both connectors and platform services working with complex authentication mechanisms (OAuth2, OIDC, SAML, API keys).
• Build and maintain automated testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines to ensure connector quality and reliability across multi-region deployments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues with existing connectors and platform services, taking operational ownership across our fleet of Falcon environments.
• Write technical documentation including integration guides, API specifications, and troubleshooting runbooks.

What You'll Need:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 6+ years of experience designing, implementing, and maintaining software systems across all phases of the development lifecycle, preferably in a SaaS model.
• Fluency in at least one programming language, preferably Python or Go.
• Proven expertise in building distributed systems, microservices, and REST APIs.
• Experience developing applications using SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Hands-on experience in large-scale system architecture, high scalability, availability, and optimization.
• Demonstrated track record of operational excellence when operating services that span many components across several geographical regions
• Proven experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, improve efficiency and drive business outcomes.
• Strong communication skills with a track record of working collaboratively across stakeholders.

• Experience with commercial cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Contributions to open-source communities.
• Hands-on Golang experience.
• Prior experience with (cybersecurity) platforms or integrations.
