Job Description:
Perform electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on industrial equipment and facilities to ensure safe and efficient operation at CROWN Americas LLC.
Responsibilities:**
* Install, maintain, test, and repair electrical systems and components, including motors, motor controls, PLCs, variable frequency drives, and industrial machinery.
* Diagnose electrical malfunctions using schematics, blueprints, and testing equipment.
* Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
* Adhere to all safety regulations, company policies, and electrical codes (NEC, NFPA 70E).
* Document all work performed, including repairs, maintenance, and parts used.
* Work independently or as part of a team to complete electrical projects and assignments.
* Communicate effectively with production staff, supervisors, and other maintenance personnel.
* Participate in on-call rotations and respond to emergency electrical issues as needed.
* Assist with the installation and commissioning of new electrical equipment.
Qualifications:
* High School Diploma or GED required.
* Completion of an accredited electrical apprenticeship program or equivalent industrial electrician experience.
* Valid Journeyman Electrician license preferred.
* Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an industrial electrician in a manufacturing environment.
* Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, including AC/DC circuits, motor controls, and PLCs (e.g., Allen-Bradley).
* Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
* Proficiency in using electrical testing equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc.).
* Working knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC) and NFPA 70E safety standards.
* Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, including working at heights, in confined spaces, and lifting heavy objects.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
