Your Skills and Expertise
- Responds to Shop Work Orders in performing maintenance and repair tasks in a safe manner
- Implements and improvements preventive maintenance procedures
- Determines parts, tools, and supplies necessary for the jobs
- Documents work activities in the work order SAP
- Willingness to learn and expand craft skills
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:
- Possess a High School Diploma/GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
- Possess a valid and current driver’s license
- Three (3) years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance.
- Ability to work overtimes, weekends, short notice coverage as business arise, rotating shifts (1st – 2nd), and holidays as needed.
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Ability to obtain Wisconsin Journeyman electrician license within established period OR possess a current and valid Wisconsin Journeyman electrician certificate or license
- Experience working with PLCs and Process Controls
- Experience reading blueprints, wiring diagrams, equipment manuals and troubleshooting problems to make adjustments and repairs
- Ability to communicate effectively and work well with other people
- Basic computer knowledge
Pay & Benefits:
- The starting rate of pay for this position is $40.02 + Shift differential. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience. In addition, this position may be eligible for a range of benefits (e.g., Medical, Dental & Vision, Health Savings Accounts, Health Care & Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, Disability Benefits, Life Insurance, Voluntary Benefits, Paid Absences, and Retirement Benefits, etc.).
