Raytheon Manufacturing Electrical Engineers work within production operations and the manufacturing discipline in a controlled environment.  They use electrical engineering skills, an understanding of manufacturing (cost, quality, safety, and schedule), and Raytheon systems and tools.


What You Will Do

  • Support the design, control, and improvement of the manufacturing process through collaboration with a multi-disciplined team
  • Translate engineering design requirements into manufacturing processes
  • Perform hardware defect analysis
  • Support corrective action investigations
  • Lead Manufacturing objectives for cost, quality, schedule and safety
  • Lead improvement and optimization initiatives within the Manufacturing discipline


Qualifications You Must Have

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering must be obtained by the start date
  • Experience with manufacturing processes
  • Experience using common electronic test and measure equipment
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.


Qualifications We Prefer

  • Prior RTX internship, co-op, or work experience

  • Experience with Manufacturing processes in the Defense industry

  • Experience with technical writing and interpretation of technical documentation

  • Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.
  • This position involves direct support of manufacturing activities and requires spending time in and around factory areas.
  • Clearance Information: This position requires security clearance. DCSA Consolidated Adjudication Services (DCSA CAS), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process. The salary range for this role is 51,500 USD - 97,900 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
