Job Description
Position Summary
The primary role of the Education Coordinator is to support education activities for the One Health Institute.
Education activities include supporting graduate and professional students enrolled in the One Health Certificate, One Health in Communities and Team Science courses, contribute to the development of One Health undergraduate and other education and professional One Health programs, develop new instructional materials, and assist with teaching existing One Health courses; mentor and advise students pursuing academic studies in One Health, and support the development of on-line One Health materials.
Other activities include assisting in planning of outreach activities with Comms summer intern for youth students and community stakeholders and support OHI and other research initiatives

Essential Job Duties
Coordinate graduate and professional students enrolled in the One Health Certificate, One Health in Communities and Team Science courses with partners.
Aid the development of One Health education (undergraduate, graduate) and professional One Health programs and courses.
Support the development of on-line One Health education courses.
Develop new instructional materials and assist with teaching existing One Health courses.
Mentor and advise students pursuing academic studies in One Health in coordination with faculty advisors.
Assist in the planning of outreach activities with Comms summer intern for youth students and community stakeholders.
Support OHI and other research initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications
Master’s degree in relevant field.
Minimum of 2 years relevant experience.
Experience working in a higher education environment. Experience coordinating higher education programs.
Experience mentoring students.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Personal and professional commitment to professionalism as demonstrated by involvement in advising, teaching, and research.
Understanding of One Health philosophy and principles.
Preferred Qualifications
DVM/Doctoral degree in relevant field.
Experience developing and delivering academic courses.
Experience mentoring undergraduate, graduate and professional students. Demonstrated leadership experience.
Demonstrated experience working with various groups, settings, and individuals.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Salary Range
