Locum ED Opportunities – Wheatbelt Region, WA | July & August 2026

We are currently seeking FACEMs, SMOs and Senior ED Registrars (PGY6+) for multiple locum vacancies across the Wheatbelt region of Western Australia.

Northam Hospital

Emergency Department – July 2026
Available shifts between 2 July – 31 July 2026
Includes night shifts, float shifts, day shifts with on-call and selected shifts with additional loading.

Inpatient Ward – July 2026
Available dates: 6, 7, 8, 10, 11, 13, 14, 17 and 19 July 2026
Shift time: 0800–1600
Rate: $160/hour
Suitable for PGY6+ Ward Registrar.

Emergency Department – August 2026
Available shifts between 1 August – 31 August 2026
Includes day, float and night shifts.

Narrogin Hospital

Emergency Department – July 2026
Available shifts between 3 July – 31 July 2026
Includes day, afternoon and night shifts, with loading applying to selected dates.

Emergency Department – August 2026
Available shifts between 1 August – 30 August 2026
Includes day, afternoon and night shifts.

Merredin Hospital

Emergency Department – July 2026
Available dates: 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 15 and 22 July 2026
Shift pattern: 0800–2000 on the floor, 2000–0800 on call

Emergency Department – August 2026
Available dates: 1, 2, 5, 12 and 19 August 2026
Shift pattern: 0800–2000 on the floor, 2000–0800 on call

Rates

FACEM: $2,700–$2,900 per day
SMO / Senior ED Registrar: $2,000–$2,500 per day
Northam Inpatient Ward: $160/hour
