EnerMech is seeking Expressions of Interest from experienced Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Technicians for upcoming maintenance, shutdown and turnaround projects across major industrial sites in the Gladstone region.
As a global provider of integrated maintenance, engineering and project services, EnerMech supports some of Australia's leading resources, energy and industrial operations. With a strong pipeline of upcoming work, we are looking to connect with skilled E&I professionals who are committed to safety, quality and teamwork.
About the Opportunities
Successful candidates may be engaged in a variety of activities, including:
- Preventative and corrective maintenance of instrumentation and electrical systems
- Calibration, testing and commissioning of field instruments
- Fault finding and troubleshooting of control systems and instrumentation equipment
- Shutdown and turnaround execution
- Loop checks and functional testing
- Maintenance of transmitters, analyzers, valves and associated instrumentation
- Supporting plant reliability and operational performance
- Adhering to site safety and quality procedures
Requirements
To Be Successful, You Will Have
- Certificate III in Instrumentation and Control or Electrical/Instrumentation Trade Qualification
- Current Queensland Electrical Work Licence (where applicable)
- Current LVR/CPR certification
- White Card (Construction Induction)
- Previous experience in heavy industry, LNG, mining, power generation, manufacturing, chemical processing or similar environments
- Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
- Commitment to safe work practices and continuous improvement
- Ability to pass pre-employment medicals and drug & alcohol screening
Highly Regarded
- Certificate IV in Electrical – Instrumentation
- Experience with plant shutdowns and brownfield maintenance
- Hazardous Area (EEHA) qualifications
- Working at Heights
- Confined Space Entry
- Gas Testing qualifications
- PLC, DCS or SCADA system exposure
- Current Driver's Licence
