This position at Amex GBT represents an exciting opportunity to work in the dynamic world of airline distribution, managing a portfolio of airlines within the Americas region. This is a strategic role, where the successful applicant will be responsible for managing the distribution relationships with key external partners to secure best-in-class content for GBT’s customers and collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure this content is optimized at point of sale.
What You’ll Do:
- Work with Distribution Team’s leadership to drive the air distribution strategy in North America and Latam.
- Partnering with Airlines to ensure strong collaboration on distribution matters, alignment on goals and enhancing the overall offering to joint customers
- Work through content related issues and apply solutions as required to overcome challenges
- Working closely with Product & Technology, Marketplace and Commercial teams to ensure alignment and progress on key goals
- Developing and implementing new strategies to evolve and expand the content offered to customers utilizing new capabilities and technology as required
- Develop commercial models to meet the evolving needs of the marketplace
What We’re Looking For:
- 3+ years of experience in the Airline and/or travel distribution space. Ideally with good knowledge of NDC
- Strong product and technology knowledge base to influence and lead product-related discussions.
- Strong relationship building skills and the ability to collaborate with colleagues and external partners. Ability to navigate a complex organization and find the right internal partner for each project
- Critical thinking skills coupled with translating complex technical and business issues into clear, actionable insights for leadership
- Experience of ‘future proofing’ within organizations
- Strong negotiation skills to ensure optimum value for the organization.
- Strong analytical skills. Assess and understand financial impact of negotiations
- Excellent organizational and planning skills, attention to detail and ability to deliver within deadlines
- Coss cultural awareness. Thrive in diverse, multi-time zone environments with cultural adaptability.

The US national base salary range for this position is from
$88,200.00 - $163,800.00The national range provided includes the base salary that Amex GBT expects to pay for the role. Actual base salary will be based on factors including the scope and complexity of the role and the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and work location.
In addition to base salary, the anticipated range of which is posted above, this role is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, which rewards participants based on company and individual performance.
