About the Role & Program 

Join us for the opportunity to intern with our Studio Production Resource Group, part of the Production Management teams at Disney Kids and Family (DK&F)! We are a unit of Disney Entertainment Television which oversees development and production of animated content geared towards kids, teens and families for Disney+ and Disney Channel/Disney Jr. linear networks. We encourage teamwork, learning and development while striving to keep our creative output top in class. If you are interested in the animation industry, learning the behind the scenes of project management from creation to completion, and are passionate about kids and family content, this could be a good role for you! 

This internship is a full-time, six-month commitment in the Glendale, CA area from January 2027-June 2027. If selected for this opportunity, you will report to the Director of Production. 

 
What You Will Do 

In this role, you will support the Studio Production Resource Group within Production Management for Disney Television Animation. You will have the opportunity to familiarize yourself with our slate of projects and be exposed to the life cycle of them from development through the various stages of production. The role will also allow you to see firsthand the various steps of an animation project and will also allow for exposure to the software used for various mediums within Animation, including CG, 2D and Harmony, Unreal and review the differences between animation deliverables.  You’ll assist with basic admin duties, i.e. scheduling meetings and crew events, helping with meeting agendas, note-taking in team and project meetings with the opportunity to work in software databases such as Excel, Ftrack, Confluence, Canva with deliverable checklists, along with full collaboration and crafting decks for Executive Review. 

Some responsibilities that you will help with include: 

• Updating and maintaining Air Tables and interacting with weekly production reports 

• Participating in Series Launch Meetings 

• Collaborative projects with respective departments (recording and cross collaboration with production departments) 

• Will be assigned various projects within the digital library as it pertains to archival materials 

• Awards Season partnership with Awards Coordinator 

• Where applicable, partake in Post, Records, and Script organizational session 

 
Required Qualifications & Skills 

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills 

• Excellent oral and written communication skills 

• Inquisitive mind that wants to learn with a positive attitude 

• Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, Outlook)  

 
Preferred Qualifications & Skills 

• Interest in production of Television Animation 

• Previous education or experience in a related field (TV Animation or Games including Pre-Production and Production) 

• Prior administrative experience 

• Experience with Airtable and Canva 

 
Education 

• Senior year preferred. 

• Major or previous coursework in Film, Cinematic Arts, English, Literal, or Marketing or related field. 

 
Eligibility Requirements & Program Information:   

Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements:  

• Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship.  

• Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program.    

• Be at least 18 years of age  

• Possess unrestricted work authorization  

 
Additional Information  

• Able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship 

• The approximate dates of this internship are January 2027 through June 2027 

• Fully available from Monday through Friday, 9am to 6pm PT for the duration of the internship, 40 hours each week 

• Able to provide own housing and transportation for the duration of the internship program in the Glendale, CA area
