As a Director, Paid Media at Clarity, you will own and accelerate our paid acquisition program. We've grown past 100,000 registered users on the back of an extremely fast scaling media budget, up to $5M annually, and we've kept CAC well below LTV the whole way.

We're now at an inflection point. We’ve recently is rebranded, with a new name and identity, and paid acquisition controls whether that event compounds our growth or slows it down. You'll own a major part of that transition.

From there, you'll lead the expansion into new audiences while continuing to scale the program already in place. And you'll bring the analytical rigor to prove what's working so we can push it further.

In this role, your responsibilities would include:

• Own paid media strategy and budget across Google, LinkedIn, and other programmatic channels.

• Maintain and expand our marketing attribution that gives leadership clear visibility into channel-level ROI.

• Run a continuous testing program across creative, audience, and bidding to improve acquisition efficiency.

• Partner with Sales & Private Capital Solutions to expand paid media into new investor and issuer segments.

• Manage ad platforms yourself, while expanding leverage with AI, agencies and team members as needed

• Report on campaign performance, CAC, and pipeline contribution to executive leadership.

• Identify and pilot new channels and AI-driven tools to improve efficiency and reach.

Required Skills:

• 7+ years in paid media or performance marketing, with your hands on the ad platforms

• Deep Google Ads expertise: campaign architecture, automated bidding, audience signals, and and you stay up to date with new changes on the platform.

• You've personally managed a minimum of $1 million a year in digital ad spend across platforms like Google Ads, Meta and LinkedIn, with a majority of that in search.

• In depth attribution understanding. You can walk us through an incrementality test you designed, a media mix model you commissioned, or an attribution argument you settled.

• Extremely strong analytical skills. You pull your own data instead of waiting on a report, and report out necessary details proactively to the business.

• Excited and connected to the mission of Clarity

• You're already wiring AI into most of what you do

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in fintech, financial services, or another regulated industry

• Experience marketing to institutional or high-net-worth audiences

• Strong knowledge of BI tools like Omni, Looker, or PostHog

Compensation: Highly competitive compensation commensurate with experience and contribution.

• Vancouver, BC: $200,000-$240,000

   

For this role, the estimated total compensation range is listed above. The actual base salary, variable bonus (if applicable), and options grant will vary based on various factors, including market and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process. The listed range above is a guideline, and the range for this role may be modified.
