ABOUT THE COMPANY

EROAD is a global fleet management technology company that gives fleet operators GPS tracking, video telematics, compliance and safety tools through one connected platform, and it has grown from its New Zealand roots into a business operating across New Zealand, Australia and North America, dual-listed on the NZX and ASX. As it continues that growth it is now looking for a Director of Customer Delivery & Operations to take overall accountability for how products and services get delivered to customers at scale.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

This role owns the strategy and performance of everything that gets EROAD's products into customers' hands, without getting pulled into the day-to-day running of any one function.

- Provide strategic leadership, performance oversight and governance across warehousing, logistics, regional installation delivery, internal field technicians and third-party installation partners
- Design and execute a scalable field deployment and installation operating model as the business grows
- Plan and deliver large-scale customer deployment programmes and operational projects
- Translate commercial demand into concrete operational delivery plans
- Own accountability for installation delivery, warehousing, logistics, workforce capability and overall operational performance
- Empower functional leaders to run their day-to-day operations while you hold the strategic and governance view
- Sit on the New Zealand Leadership Team, ensuring products and services are deployed safely, efficiently and at scale

WHAT YOU NEED

We need someone who has led at this level before, not someone learning the scope on the job.

- Experience providing strategic leadership, performance oversight and governance across warehousing, logistics and field installation or deployment functions
- Experience designing and executing a scalable field deployment or installation operating model
- Experience planning and delivering large-scale customer deployment programmes and operational projects
- Experience translating commercial demand into operational delivery plans
- Experience operating at a senior leadership team level, accountable for cross-functional operational performance
