About the Role: 

OLAPLEX is seeking a strategic, innovative, and commercially-minded Director, Influencer Marketing to pioneer the global vision and integration of our creator ecosystem. Taking a data-driven, full-funnel approach, you will champion brand storytelling, cultivate community advocacy, and directly accelerate consumer conversion.

As a pivotal leader, you will revolutionize how OLAPLEX partners with talent—from micro-creators to powerhouse influencers —setting best-in-class standards across the beauty and haircare industry. You are a confident executive storyteller who can effortlessly navigate social algorithms, manage agency and cross-functional dynamics, and present high-impact solutions to executive leadership.

• Define and execute the global influencer strategy across all platforms to drive engagement, advocacy, and revenue growth 
• Build a multi-tiered creator ecosystem spanning VIP, macro, micro, and professional brand advocates 
• Lead end-to-end planning and execution of high-impact campaigns that boost cultural relevance and commercial conversion 
• Develop platform-specific creator content strategies optimized for organic reach and paid amplification 
• Manage influencer and agency partnerships to secure long-term brand advocacy and key voices for major product launches
• Collaborate with cross-functional and regional leads to align influencer initiatives with commercial goals and retail demand
• Partner with Paid Media teams to seamlessly integrate influencer content into performance channels, driving conversion
• Oversee affiliate influencer programs, maximizing contract spend, commission structures, and overall ROI 
• Scale influencer strategies across emerging channels, mapping audience segments to cultural triggers and trends
• Ensure global campaign alignment while empowering local teams with tailored regional execution strategies
• Establish robust KPIs and data reporting models to optimize creator selection, messaging, and budget allocation
• Manage the influencer marketing budget, optimizing spend across brand awareness, performance, and retail channels
• Monitor platform shifts, social trends, and industry best practices to maintain a competitive advantage
• Lead and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and excellence

About You:  

• 10+ years of progressive industry experience, including at least 5 years dedicated strictly to Influencer Marketing leadership 
• Deep-seated passion for prestige beauty and haircare innovation 
• Proven ability to cultivate authentic relationships and engage key stakeholders across the creator community 
• Extensive portfolio of successful influencer initiatives and an established network with top talent and management agencies 
• Demonstrated success scaling affiliate programs across platforms such as ShopMy, LTK, and leading affiliate networks
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with a track record of building operational frameworks to execute strategy seamlessly
• Highly collaborative leader with exceptional relationship-building capabilities, adept at inspiring cross-functional alignment and championing creator programs internally
• Proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with the agility to thrive and drive impact in a fast-paced environment
• Analytical and business-minded, skilled in translating complex performance metrics into actionable optimizations 
• Proven leadership capabilities in mentoring, developing, and managing high-performing teams
• Expertise in complex contract negotiations, talent deal structures, and global compliance standards
• Superior written and verbal communication, negotiation, and executive presentation skills
• Comprehensive understanding of social algorithms, creator trends, and competitive industry dynamics
• Adept in rapid priority management, project scheduling, and brand risk mitigation
• In-depth knowledge of emerging cultural trends, digital media shifts, and the beauty landscape
• Keen creative eye with a track record of driving innovative content initiatives

Our Total Rewards: 

The annual base pay for this position is $160,000 - $180,000 with eligibility for an annual bonus. The actual base pay will vary based on factors such as qualifications, years of relevant experience, skill level, functional expertise, certificates or other professional licenses held and geographic location.
