The Job:
Leader to own and continuously strengthen IMMEX compliance program in Mexico, ensuring end-to-end regulatory adherence while enabling efficient, scalable operations. This role leads program execution and sustainability, implementing standard process and SOP’s, governance with trade compliance team, inventory regularization strategy for expired / expiring IMMEX inventory, audit readiness, risk mitigation, and process simplification / automation, partnering closely with Supply Chain, Logistics, Trade Compliance, and other business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program Management: Oversee IMMEX, ensuring compliance with relevant Mexican regulations and company policies, across Mexican sites. Partners with trade compliance to implement and maintain the IMMEX playbook.
- Inventory Management: Develop and implement strategies for managing expired and expiring inventory within the IMMEX program. This includes creating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for inventory management and providing monthly reports to business leaders
- Risk Mitigation: Propose and implement risk mitigation strategies for the IMMEX program, in compliance with Mexican general foreign trade rules
- Process Improvement: Conduct analysis and identify areas where processes can be simplified or automated to reduce manual workload. System optimization.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with various departments and functions, including supply chain, logistics, and compliance, to ensure seamless operations and compliance with IMMEX regulations
- Audit and Compliance: Ensure that all IMMEX-related activities are compliant with internal and external audit requirements. Address any findings from audits and implement corrective actions as needed
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a matrixed team responsible for IMMEX compliance. Ensure that the team is adequately staffed and trained.
The Person:

- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field
- 10–15 years of experience in supply chain/logistics/Trade Operations with a strong focus on IMMEX operations/compliance.
- Demonstrated experience leading teams and driving compliance programs through audit and regulatory scrutiny.
- Proven ability to translate regulations into SOPs, controls, and operational routines.
- English proficiency; capable of holding business level conversations
