Pay Rate: Starting at $20/hour
Make a lasting impact every day as a Direct Support Professional (DSP) with BAYADA Habilitation. In this rewarding role, you'll work one-on-one with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, empowering them to build life skills, achieve personal goals, and become more active members of their communities.
As a DSP, you'll support individuals in their homes and communities by assisting with daily activities, fostering social connections, and encouraging participation in meaningful experiences that promote independence and inclusion.

No experience required—we provide training!
Locations: Kahului, Wailuku, Kihei, Pukalani, Makawao, Kula
Employment Type: Part-Time (Weekday and Weekend Availability)
Compensation: Weekly Pay Starting at $20/hour, with higher rates based on experience.
How You’ll Make an Impact:
- Build meaningful, long-term relationships through one-on-one support.

Participate in clients’ favorite activities and community events, including programs such as Special Olympics.

Assist individuals in developing independence and achieving personal goals, such as budgeting, shopping, socializing, using public transportation, and maintaining an active lifestyle.

Provide support with dignity, respect, and person-centered care.

Promote client safety and well-being at home and in the community.

Help create enjoyable and enriching experiences that support inclusion and quality of life

Qualifications:

At least 18 years of age

High School Diploma or equivalent

Passion for supporting individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities

Patience, empathy, and reliability

Ability to read and write in English
-
Reliable transportation and ability to transport clients to community activities
