What We're Looking For:

We're seeking a highly experienced Digital Architect who can lead the architecture and delivery of large-scale web and mobile products. The ideal candidate combines deep technical architecture expertise with a strong understanding of user experience, enabling scalable, secure, high-performing digital platforms that are intuitive, accessible, and engaging.

Position Overview:

As a Digital Architect - Web, Mobile & User Experience, you will work closely with engineering, product, design, QA, and DevOps teams to define technical strategy and guide best-in-class execution across the digital ecosystem. You will own end-to-end architecture across front-end, back-end, integration, and infrastructure layers while establishing standards, evaluating technologies, managing architectural risk, and ensuring solutions align with business goals and user needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own end-to-end digital architecture: Define the architecture for web and mobile applications across front-end, back-end, integration, and infrastructure layers.
• Translate business needs into technical solutions: Convert business and product requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable architectures.
• Champion user-centered architecture: Partner with UX/UI designers to ensure technical decisions support seamless, intuitive, and accessible experiences.
• Establish architecture standards: Define design patterns, best practices, and governance across web and mobile platforms.
• Lead technology evaluations: Assess frameworks, tools, and platforms, and provide informed build-versus-buy recommendations.
• Provide technical leadership: Mentor development teams and guide consistent, high-quality implementation of architectural designs.
• Collaborate across disciplines: Align Product, Engineering, QA, DevOps, and Design stakeholders around solutions that support business goals.
• Review architecture and risk: Conduct architecture reviews, performance audits, and risk assessments across projects.
• Advance modern engineering practices: Drive microservices, API-first design, responsive and adaptive design, CI/CD, and cloud-native architecture.
• Ensure quality attributes: Confirm solutions meet performance, scalability, security, accessibility, and cross-browser and cross-device requirements.
• Monitor emerging technologies: Stay current with web, mobile, and UX trends and proactively recommend improvements.
• Support client and stakeholder engagement: Contribute architectural vision and technical thought leadership to pre-sales, client presentations, and stakeholder discussions when applicable.

Requirements:

• 15+ years of progressive software architecture experience, with strong focus on web and mobile platforms.
• Proven experience architecting and delivering large-scale, high-traffic web and mobile applications end-to-end.
• Strong understanding of UX/UI principles and the ability to connect technical architecture with design thinking.
• Hands-on expertise with modern front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue, plus native, hybrid, or cross-platform mobile development approaches such as React Native or Flutter.
• Solid experience with back-end architecture, RESTful and GraphQL APIs, microservices, and Microsoft Azure.
• Strong knowledge of responsive design, WCAG accessibility standards, and cross-browser and cross-device compatibility.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and Agile or Scrum software development lifecycles.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills, including the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Demonstrated leadership in mentoring engineering teams and driving architectural governance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in consulting, a digital agency, or a product organization delivering solutions for enterprise clients.
• Familiarity with design systems and component libraries.
• Experience with performance optimization, security architecture, and scalability planning for high-traffic platforms.
• Relevant certifications such as AWS or Azure Solutions Architect or TOGAF.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
