We are looking for an experienced and commercially focused DGM - Finance to lead key finance functions and drive strong financial governance across the organization. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Finance, Taxation, and Finance Automation, with a strong understanding of financial planning, reporting, compliance, controls, and process optimization.

The role will involve partnering with senior leadership and business stakeholders to provide accurate financial insights, strengthen financial controls, ensure statutory and tax compliance, and leverage technology to make finance operations more efficient and scalable.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee core Finance functions including accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow management, MIS, and financial controls.
• Drive preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Develop financial plans, budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses to support strategic and operational decision-making.
• Monitor working capital, receivables, payables, cash flows, and overall financial performance.
• Manage Taxation activities including direct and indirect tax compliance, GST, TDS, tax assessments, reconciliations, and statutory filings.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, regulators, and other external stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of financial and taxation matters.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting, taxation, corporate, and financial regulations.
• Identify financial risks and establish robust internal controls, policies, and processes to mitigate them.
• Lead initiatives for Finance Automation by identifying manual and repetitive processes that can be digitized or streamlined.
• Work with technology and cross-functional teams to implement ERP systems, finance tools, dashboards, automated reconciliations, workflow automation, and reporting solutions.
• Improve the accuracy, timeliness, and accessibility of financial data through automation and process standardization.
• Build and monitor finance MIS and dashboards that provide meaningful insights into revenue, costs, profitability, cash flow, and business performance.
• Identify opportunities for cost optimization and operational efficiency while maintaining appropriate financial controls.
• Partner with business leaders to evaluate investments, business initiatives, pricing decisions, and other strategic financial matters.
• Lead, mentor, and develop finance professionals while establishing a culture of accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement.

Must-Have Skills

• Strong expertise in Finance and financial management.
• Extensive knowledge of Taxation, including GST, TDS, direct and indirect tax compliance.
• Hands-on experience with Finance Automation and digitization of finance processes.
• Strong understanding of accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and MIS.
• Experience managing audits, statutory compliance, and financial controls.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and finance-related technology platforms.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
• Strong leadership and team-management capabilities.

Qualifications & Experience

• 9–17 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, taxation, controllership, or related functions.
• CA/ICWA/CPA or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
• Experience in a leadership role within a growing or complex business environment will be an advantage.
• Demonstrated experience in improving finance processes through automation, technology adoption, and operational transformation.
