The Deputy Director, Branding and Communications drives the development and implementation of strategic communications, branding, media engagement and marketing initiatives across Nanyang Business School.

Reporting to the Deputy Dean, the role oversees the College’s branding, media relations, stakeholder engagement, corporate communications and high-level events management efforts. The incumbent works closely with programme offices, research centres, faculty, alumni and the University’s Corporate Communications Office (CCO) to strengthen institutional visibility and reputation.

The role also oversees Dean’s communications, editorial outputs, social media platforms and strategic communications initiatives, while leading the Marketing Communications team to ensure effective and consistent communications support across the College.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, Media or related disciplines.

• At least 15 years of relevant communications, branding or marketing experience.

• Strong experience in media relations, stakeholder engagement and strategic communications.

• Experience leading communications or marketing teams.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong stakeholder management and project management capability.

• Experience in higher education or large institutions would be advantageous.

• Familiarity with digital marketing, social media platforms and communications analytics.

• Experience supporting senior leadership communications.

• Ability to assess reputational considerations and provide sound communications advisory.
