A Day in the Life:
- Develop and manage 24-month demand plans for key product portfolios
- Enhance forecast accuracy, optimize inventory levels, and ensure customer satisfaction
- Translate market insights into actionable supply chain plans
- Leverage advanced analytics and forecasting tools
- Manage Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes
- Facilitate demand review meetings
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Analyze market trends, historical data, and business intelligence to create accurate forecasts
- Maintain strong partnerships with Product Management, Commercial, Finance, and Manufacturing teams
- Optimize inventory levels, reducing excess and obsolescence risk, and ensuring efficient production planning.
Keys to Success:
Education:
- Minimum Required Education: Bachelor’s Degree (Preferred Fields of Study: Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field)
- APICS certification preferred
- CSCMP or comparable supply chain certification a plus
Experience:
- Minimum Required Experience: 2 years of experience in demand planning or supply chain management
- Forecasting/ demand planning tool experience required (Kinaxis preferred; SAP, Forecast Pro, or similar platforms)
- Experience with business intelligence tools like Power BI
- Experience in S&OP processes and inventory management
- Experience in cross-functional team collaboration and project management
- Experience using Lean business practices and continuous improvement methodologies
- Experience in life sciences, medical device, or pharmaceutical industry preferred
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Advanced analytical skills with expertise in statistical modeling and forecasting techniques
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Clear verbal and written communication skills with ability to present to senior leadership
- Ability to work in a matrix organization
- Problem-solving skills with data-driven decision-making capability
- English proficiency required; additional languages a plus
