IT Project Management Office is primarily responsible for setting and maintaining the standards for IT project management throughout our bank with the focus of helping project teams enhance project execution and deliver value to our bank and our customers.
The Data & Communications Analyst will support the IT Project Management Office by maintaining reliable Power BI dashboards, analysing project portfolio data and translating findings into clear insights for management reporting and decision-making. This role will also help identify opportunities to improve PMO processes, streamline reporting routines and enhance productivity. In addition, the Data & Communications Analyst will support department communications by managing the PMO homepage and communications mailbox for broadcasts and updates.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Maintain and support the regular refresh of PMO Power BI dashboards, including data validation and quality checks, to ensure reporting remains accurate, timely and relevant for management decision-making.
- Analyse project portfolio data to identify trends, gaps, anomalies and opportunities for improvement across project delivery, governance and reporting practices.
- Translate data into clear insights and compelling narratives that enable stakeholders to better understand portfolio performance, risks, progress and emerging areas of focus.
- Proactively identify opportunities to enhance PMO processes, reporting routines and ways of working, with the objective of streamlining activities and improving productivity.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate reporting requirements into meaningful dashboards, intuitive views and actionable management updates.
- Independently manage the PMO department homepage, ensuring content is current, well-structured, engaging and easy to navigate.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Analytics, Statistics, Business, Economics, Engineering, Information Technology, Data Science, Mathematics or a related field.
- 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in data analytics, business intelligence, project reporting or PMO support, preferably within banking or financial services.
- Hands-on experience maintaining, refreshing and enhancing dashboards using Power BI or similar visualisation tools such as QlikView or Tableau.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends and anomalies, and translate findings into clear insights and management updates.
- Proactive and improvement-oriented, with an interest in streamlining processes, simplifying reporting routines and improving productivity.
- Good written communication skills, with the ability to manage department broadcasts, internal updates and homepage content clearly and independently.
- Meticulous, organised and self-driven, with added advantage for familiarity with automation tools such as Python, VBA or R, and project management systems or processes.
