We are looking for an experienced Cybersecurity Penetration Testing & Data Centre Security Specialist to assess, strengthen, and validate the security posture of enterprise networks and critical infrastructure environments.
The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in penetration testing, cybersecurity controls, network security, data centre security, vulnerability assessment, incident response, and business continuity. The role requires strong technical judgement and the ability to identify security weaknesses, validate existing controls, and provide actionable recommendations to improve overall cyber resilience.
Experience working with hyperscale data centres, cloud environments, or government cybersecurity projects will be highly valuable.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct penetration testing, ethical hacking, vulnerability assessments, and security validation across enterprise networks and infrastructure.
- Simulate realistic cyberattack scenarios to identify vulnerabilities and assess the effectiveness of existing security controls.
- Prepare detailed penetration-testing and security-assessment reports documenting findings, risks, evidence, and remediation recommendations.
- Validate cybersecurity policies and controls designed to prevent, detect, and mitigate malicious cyber activity.
- Review network and security-device configurations to identify misconfigurations, weaknesses, and potential attack vectors.
- Verify that critical security infrastructure is appropriately configured, securely maintained, and updated with relevant security patches.
- Assess the effectiveness of security controls across data centre and critical infrastructure environments.
- Design, review, and strengthen cybersecurity controls for enterprise and data centre environments.
- Evaluate security architecture and controls across hyperscale data centres and cloud environments.
- Identify vulnerabilities, security gaps, configuration weaknesses, and control deficiencies and recommend practical remediation measures.
- Work with infrastructure, network, cloud, and security teams to address identified risks and improve security posture.
- Support the development and testing of incident response plans, cybersecurity response procedures, and escalation processes.
- Contribute to BCP/DR planning, disaster recovery readiness, and cyber-resilience initiatives.
- Support forensic-readiness activities, including logging, evidence preservation, monitoring, and investigation preparedness.
- Maintain security assessment documentation, findings, remediation tracking, and compliance evidence.
- Stay current with emerging threats, attack techniques, vulnerabilities, security technologies, and industry best practices.
What Makes You a Great Fit
- 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, penetration testing, information security, network security, or a closely related field.
- Strong hands-on experience conducting penetration tests, ethical hacking, vulnerability assessments, and security reviews.
- Strong understanding of network security, cybersecurity architecture, attack methodologies, and security controls.
- Proven experience designing and reviewing cybersecurity controls for data centres and critical infrastructure.
- Experience assessing security configurations, security appliances, network infrastructure, patching, and technical controls.
- Strong understanding of security policies and controls designed to protect against malicious cyber activity.
- Experience working in hyperscale data centres, cloud environments, or government cybersecurity projects is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of incident response planning, BCP/DR, cyber resilience, and forensic readiness.
- Ability to analyse technical vulnerabilities and translate findings into practical, risk-based remediation recommendations.
- Strong understanding of vulnerability management, security hardening, threat assessment, and security monitoring.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively with infrastructure, network, cloud, security, and operations teams.
- Strong technical documentation and security-reporting skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical security findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, professional judgement, and commitment to cybersecurity best practices.
- Relevant cybersecurity certifications such as OSCP, CEH, CISSP, CISM, or equivalent will be an advantage.
