Job Description

Position Summary

The Customer Quality Manager serves as the primary point of contact for customer quality issues (product, process, and software) across Brazil. This role partners closely with sales teams, distributors, and customers to capture quality-related concerns and drive them through resolution.

The Customer Quality Manager is responsible for prioritizing issues, coordinating communication between the field and business units, escalating critical matters when necessary, and ensuring timely closure. In addition, the role provides quality consultation and process guidance to sales teams and other stakeholders to support consistent and effective issue-management practices.

Your Responsibilities:

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by effectively managing quality-related concerns and identifying opportunities to improve quality processes.
• Coordinate and manage quality issues that involve multiple business units and sales regions.
• Serve as the single point of contact for assigned strategic accounts on quality-related matters.
• Analyze regional quality trends and issue-resolution metrics to drive proactive and preventive engagement with key customer accounts.
• Act as a change agent by leading communication, coordinating stakeholders, escalating critical matters, and driving urgent quality issues to resolution.
• Collaborate across multiple functions to ensure effective issue resolution, leading project teams and providing timely follow-up.
• Manage multiple open issues simultaneously while ensuring action plans are clearly documented, progress is tracked, stakeholders are informed, and resolutions remain on schedule.
• Provide ongoing education and guidance to field sales teams and distributors on quality-related processes, procedures, and best practices.
• Support field sales teams in resolving commercial challenges arising from product performance or quality concerns, addressing issues within established decision-making authority.
• Maintain clear communication with sales leadership and business units regarding key issues, status updates, escalations, and final resolutions.

Success in this role requires strong collaboration with Rockwell Automation Field Sales teams and Business Support Functions across multiple levels of the organization.

The Essentials - You Will Have:

• Bachelor’s or Associate degree, completed or in the final stages of completion.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience driving issue resolution and developing corrective action plans.
• Strong project management skills with a track record of leading initiatives to successful completion.
• Excellent commercial awareness and communication skills.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with both internal stakeholders and external customers.
• Demonstrated success driving results through cross-functional teams within a complex matrix organization.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to identify root causes and drive sustainable solutions.
• Availability for occasional travel, primarily within the assigned region (approximately 10-20%).

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

• Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Engineering, Business, or a related discipline, or equivalent education and experience.
• Knowledge of Rockwell Automation solutions, products, or industrial automation technologies.
• Experience working directly with customers, sales teams, and distribution partners.
• A proactive mindset, with a strong sense of urgency and accountability for delivering results.
• Focus on preventive actions, timely issue resolution, and continuous contribution to team success.
• Ability to work independently while effectively managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
