We are seeking a highly skilled and driven Customer Migration Specialist to spearhead and execute complex migration projects. This pivotal role requires a unique blend of client-facing expertise, strategic thinking, meticulous attention to detail, and the courage to navigate challenges while keeping projects on track. The ideal candidate will be a politically savvy communicator, adept at collaborating with cross-functional teams across product, technology, marketing, and sales to ensure seamless and successful migrations.

What you'll do:

• Client Relationship Management: Serve as the subject matter expert for clients throughout the migration process, building strong relationships, understanding their unique needs, and managing expectations effectively.
• Strategic Planning & Execution: Develop comprehensive migration strategies, outlining timelines, resources, and potential risks. Translate high-level plans into actionable steps and oversee their execution.
• Detailed Analysis & Problem Solving: Dive deep into the intricacies of existing systems, data, technology, product and customers, identifying potential roadblocks and developing innovative solutions to ensure data integrity and a smooth transition.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Effectively collaborate and communicate with product, technology, marketing, and sales teams to align migration efforts with overall business objectives.
• Proactive Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks and dependencies, proactively addressing challenges to maintain project momentum.
• Decisive Leadership: Demonstrate the courage to make timely and informed decisions, even in the face of ambiguity, to keep projects on schedule and within scope.
• Stakeholder Management: Navigate complex stakeholder landscapes with political savvy, effectively influencing and negotiating to achieve desired outcomes.
• Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Track progress against key milestones, provide regular updates to stakeholders, and identify areas for continuous improvement.
• Documentation & Training: Develop comprehensive documentation for migration processes and potentially provide training to internal teams and clients.

What experience you need:

• Proven experience managing complex technical migration projects from initiation to completion under mandated timelines from the CEO.
• Exceptional client-facing and communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical information clearly and persuasively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a knack for identifying and resolving intricate issues.
• Demonstrated ability to delve into the fine details while maintaining a holistic view of the project.
• Courageous and decisive with a track record of making sound judgments under pressure.
• Excellent collaboration and influencing skills, with the political savvy to navigate cross-functional teams effectively.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
