About The Role:

As a Customer Messaging Strategist, you’ll help shape the communications our customers receive throughout their journey with Veterans United. You’ll build, monitor, and improve automated messaging experiences designed to engage, educate, and support customers at the right moments. You’ll work closely with Creative Teams, Data Analysts, and internal partners to bring communication strategies to life, understand how they’re performing, and find ways to make the customer experience even better.

Here’s a snapshot of what you’d be doing:

• Partnering with Creative Teams to develop timely, targeted communications that engage, educate, motivate, and support our customers.
• Building, monitoring, and optimizing automated customer communications and journeys within marketing automation platforms.
• Keeping a close eye on messaging journeys and finding thoughtful ways to improve the customer experience.
• Working with Data Analysts to understand campaign performance, uncover insights, and identify opportunities to improve.
• Providing implementation guidance to internal partners and helping turn communication strategies into effective customer touchpoints.
• Pitching in wherever needed (excluding licensed tasks) to help foster a supportive and collaborative team culture.

About You:

• You’re a strong communicator, whether you’re writing, sharing ideas, or helping others understand a strategy.
• You thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment and enjoy working closely with others to get things done.
• Providing top-notch customer service comes naturally to you, and you keep the customer experience at the center of your work.
• Experience in marketing, customer experience, communications, promotions, or sales is a plus, especially if you’ve worked with email marketing.
• You’re comfortable with logic or basic coding concepts, and familiarity with marketing automation tools such as Pardot, Marketo, Eloqua, or HubSpot is a plus.
• You show up consistently and can be counted on to get the job done.
