The mission

GAIDP (Global AI & Data Platforms) tribe has a purpose to build data analytics products that benefit ING’s employees, clients and the bank overall. With an enthusiastic team of about 300 - engineers, data scientists, UXers and product owners we build solutions that make the bank more data driven.

We are a group of data enthusiasts with a mission to create an end-to-end Data Analytics Platform called Vista for ING Bank. We are part of the ING Analytics (INGA) department, under the GAIDP tribe. Vista is an internal Data Analytics Platform with over 500+ high value projects across the domains of Fraud, Wholesale Banking, Retail, and others. We have over 1000+ users, 100s of models in our Exploration environment and dozens in Production/Execution. And this is just the start for us!

Your day to day

We are looking for an experienced Customer Journey Expert (CJE) with strong project and change management capabilities to support migration initiatives within the Ingestion & Data Migration area, with an initial focus on the VISTA Fusion migration.

As a CJE, you will partner closely with the Product Owner (PO) and Product Lead (PL) of the Ingestion & Data Migration area, bringing structure, coordination, and execution focus to complex migration initiatives.

You will act as a key coordination point for migration initiatives, translating objectives into actionable plans and helping teams and stakeholders move efficiently from planning to execution. This is a joint effort across ING units, and you will be part of a distributed, international and multicultural team. Each squad is responsible for components of our platform across Exploration and Execution environments, in private or public cloud. Together, we contribute to the broader ambition of building a scalable, secure and high-performing platform that enables advanced analytics and AI across ING.

Your responsabilities will include:

• Acting as a dedicated project and change management expert for migration initiatives, supporting the PO and PL in driving successful execution.

• Developing and maintaining detailed migration plans, milestones, dependencies and deliverables, initially focused on VISTA Fusion.

• Monitor progress and provide clear, structured reporting to the PO and PL, including risks, dependencies and impediments.

• Coordinating across teams, ING units and stakeholders to ensure required activities are aligned, prepared and approved, and can be incorporated into squad planning and execution.

• This is not a Product Owner role. The primary focus is project and change management, supporting change and migration activities required to successfully onboard the organization to the VISTA platform.

What you’ll bring to the team

We are looking for you if:

• You have 3+ years of experience as a CJE, with a good understanding of product management methodologies such as Lean, Agile and Design Thinking;

• You are highly collaborative, able to build effective cooperation and keep communication smooth and clear;

• You are comfortable adapting to changing priorities and unexpected situations while maintaining delivery focus;

• You are making an impact by working with a clear target in mind and focusing on delivering meaningful value.

Nice to have:

• You have been working in complex team setups;

• You have experience with product design, experimentation and discovery;

• You’ve been a part of a Platform team;

• You have worked with an Analytics enablement team;

• You are familiar with cloud technologies;

• You’ve used Azure Boards/Azure DevOps before.

Foreign languages: English (advanced).

Education: bachelor’s degree (or higher) in an IT related field.
