Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineering Lead, a typical day involves overseeing the technical direction and architectural design of bespoke software solutions. This role requires guiding and supporting teams throughout the entire development lifecycle, from initial design concepts to final delivery. The position demands ensuring that development practices meet high standards of quality, scalability, and performance, all while aligning with the broader business goals. Collaboration with various stakeholders and continuous evaluation of project progress are integral parts of the daily routine, fostering an environment of innovation and technical excellence.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the establishment and enforcement of development standards and best practices to ensure consistent delivery quality.
- Facilitate effective communication and coordination among cross-functional teams to drive project success.
- Mentor and support team members to enhance their technical skills and professional growth.

Professional & Technical Skills:
Must-Have Skills:
- React 18+ and modern React patterns (hooks, context, etc.)
- TypeScript (strict typing and interface design)
- UI/UX best practices
- Java 21 (or any kind of JAVA – having already experience with the latest version is just a bonus)
- Spring Boot 3 (Web, Security, Validation, etc.)
- Building RESTful APIs and OpenAPI/Swagger specs
Important-to-Have Skills:
- State management (Redux)
- REST API integration and data fetching
- Unit and integration testing (Jest, React Testing Library)
- Familiarity with CI/CD and deployment tools (specifically GitLab)
- Unit/integration testing (JUnit 5, Testcontainers, Mockito)
- Security: OAuth2, JWT
- Familiarity with CI/CD and deployment tools (specifically GitLab)
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience working with API Gateways or reverse proxies
- End-to-end testing (e.g., Cypress)


Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Java Full Stack Development.
- The candidate is required to work out of the Client Office in Kharadi, Pune for 3 days per week, as per the mandate
- A 15 years full time education is required.
